When a Dutch American visited England for the first time, he encountered a strange sensation - particularly when he found himself standing at the historic Mayflower Steps in Plymouth. There was something oddly familiar about it all, even though he had never before set foot in the "Motherland". Then it dawned on him. Being there, in the place where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for the New World nearly 500 years earlier, was like going home.
